What is not permitted

  • Compiling images from OKSLOP to replicate a similar or competing service.
  • Using images to train AI/ML models without prior written consent.
  • Implying endorsement of your product or brand by OKSLOP.
  • Using images to cause harm, including but not limited to: harassment, defamation, fraud, misinformation, discrimination, or any illegal activity.

How to give attribution

Even though attribution isn't required, it helps others discover OKSLOPand keeps the free library growing. A simple credit like this is perfect:

Photo by [Contributor Name] on OKSLOP

Note: All contributor names on OKSLOP are fictional and part of our creative pipeline. Any resemblance to real artists, photographers, or other individuals is purely coincidental and unintentional.

AI-generated content

Every image on OKSLOP is generated by artificial intelligence. No image is intended to depict a real person, a real place, or a real event. Because these images are synthetic, traditional model releases and property releases do not apply.

However, AI-generated images may inadvertently resemble real people, recognizable characters, trademarked properties, copyrighted works, or real locations. Any such resemblance is purely accidental and unintentional. Similarly, contributor names, titles, and descriptions are part of our creative pipeline — any resemblance to real artists, photographers, or other real-world names is coincidental. Rights related to such resemblances have not been cleared. It is solely your responsibility to review each image before use and to determine whether additional rights, permissions, or clearances are required for your specific use case.

Some images may be suitable for editorial use (e.g., commentary, education, news) but not for commercial use, and vice versa. For example, an image that resembles a well-known fictional character may be acceptable in an editorial context but could infringe intellectual property rights if used commercially. You must make this determination yourself. OKSLOPdoes not provide legal advice and makes no guarantees about the legal suitability of any image for any purpose.

Please use common sense. See our AI Disclosure for more.

Your responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for reviewing images before use, including assessing any potential intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal concerns.
  • You will determine whether an image is appropriate for editorial, commercial, or other use in your jurisdiction.
  • You will obtain any additional rights, permissions, or clearances that may be needed for your specific use case.
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding AI-generated content, intellectual property, and image use.
  • You will not use any image in a manner that causes harm to any person, group, or entity.
  • You understand that automated content validation and AI moderation systems are inherently limited and cannot guarantee that all content is free from issues.

If you encounter any content that you believe is problematic, please report it promptly to report@okslop.com.
